Our Kitchen is a catalyst for the whole experience at Troy Hall. It is a place from which we hope to power and inspire the whole ethos of the Hall’s ambience. Delicious Food of high quality from wholesome ingredients, sourced as locally as possible and prepared with love and thoughtfulness is the reputation that Troy Hall will be built on.
Troy Hall is at the heart of Peckham’s established and growing food scene with many restaurants, eateries and street food. Many members of our community are refugees or have been refugees. Our Kitchen will reflect these experiences and the stories these members bring.
Our Food reflects our community’s traditions and experiences and reflects our diversity.
We want interactions and the conversations between people to take place over the preparations from our kitchen. We strive to make as many diverse and interesting culinary experiences as possible.
Our Kitchen is led by chef Vimala Uttarkar who is curating together an exciting repertoire.
We intend to have a full program e.g. Sunday specials as well as being wholly vegan, regular menus, specials and pop-ups. Timetabled sessions from invited chefs on a pop ups basis, plus tasting sessions and events.
We believe that food binds people together in communion and sharing. Our reach is to all our communities and we have a big stake in those who have had to leave home through no fault of their own.
The Cafeteria and Bar includes our outside alfresco lounging area serving beverages and selection from our patisserie
